On 1/02/19 RFC was alerted for a commercial building fire, Dorchester Central advised an off duty Deputy called in and advised he saw smoke coming from the eves of the structure. Chief 61 arrived, confirmed the report and then advised of a working fire in the attic, a tanker task-force and an additional ladder/tower was then requested. Incident command was transferred from Chief 61 to Chief 1, units found the fire around a fan motor and had extension to the insulation and wall, fire was knocked, overhaul was completed, and units cleared the incident.
